DIRECTOR

As an emerging director, Lauren Campedelli builds upon her substantial acting and literary foundations. Most of her directing credits involve working closely with playwrights, both established and emerging, on new material, particularly with the highly regarded Ensemble Studio Theatre/LA, which is dedicated to developing new work. She is committed to equity and inclusion in casting, and is willing to go the extra mile to achieve it.

While creating an inclusive rehearsal environment of exploration and collaboration, Campedelli holds the big picture while delving deeply and specifically into script, language, character, relationships, movement, style, and design. All to move an audience to delight and wonder, to open their hearts and minds, to experience something new that shifts their perspective a little—or a lot.
